Photo/Video: Cardi B, Zoey Dollaz, Steph Lecor and More Hit Green Carpet at BET Hip Hop Awards

The BET “HIP HOP AWARDS” 2017 brought the heat to Miami, Florida on Friday, October 6, 2017 for the annual taping of the most prominent hip hop showcase on television. Multi-platinum artist, mega-producer and holder of ‘the keys to success’ DJ Khaled hosted hip-hop’s biggest night of the year at The Fillmore Miami Beach at Jackie Gleason Theater. THE BET “HIP HOP AWARDS” 2017 premiered on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at 8:00PM ET.

Sparkling jumpsuits, gowns, masks and Haitian flags was just some of the highlights on the red green carpet and L’union Suite was on the carpet giving you an exclusive look on the looks and interviews from some of your Hip Hop favorites.

DJ Khaled hosted the event for the second year in a row and Miami was well represented by others who call the Sunshine State home including Plies, Uncle Luke, Trick Daddy, XXXTentacion, T-Pain and some of your Haitian favorites like Steph Lecor, Zoey Dollaz and Haitian Fresh.

As far as performers go, fans are in for quite a treat. ATL’s Migos, Playboi Carti, Cardi B and DJ Khaled took the stage to perform, as well as Florida’s best-known talents like Rick Ross, Trick Daddy, T-Pain, Trina, Plies and Flo Rida. Former 2 Live Crew member and philanthropist Uncle Luke received the prestigious “I Am Hip-Hop” Icon Award and gave a special speech and legendary performance.

2017’s breakout star Cardi B earned nine nominations for this year’s show, including Single of the Year, Best New Hip-Hop Artist and MVP of the Year. To see who else won, tune into the award show when it airs on BET tonight at 8pm.
