How a Town-Size Solar Grid Is Changing Lives in Haiti

What does a watt mean to you? In Haiti, where nearly three-quarters of the population lacks access to electricity, even a few watts can be life changing. Great Energy Challenge grantee Allison Archambault explains how EarthSpark International is helping to light up Haiti.

The group pioneered the first-of-its-kind town-size, solar-powered smart grid, bringing much needed power to the rural community of Les Anglais.
