Jack Brewer Foundation Global Ambassadors, Clinton Portis, Toni Garrn, YesJulz, Anastasia Galkova and Carlos Dunlap, Lead a Delegation of Athletes and Artists Making an Impact in Haiti

PORT-AU-PRINCE, HAITI / ACCESSWIRE / April 6, 2017 / The Jack Brewer Foundation (“JBF,” “JBF Worldwide,” or the “Foundation”) will lead a delegation of nearly 100 Global Ambassadors who are traveling to Haiti from April 7-11, 2017, as part of the Foundation’s long standing efforts to raise awareness in a mission of sport for development and peace in the areas of medical aid, disaster relief, food security, education, and cultural exchange.

Since visiting Haiti on one of the first flights following the devastating earthquake of 2010, and founding the “One Team 4 Haiti” campaign uniting global influencers and professional athlete players’ associations from all major sports leagues, including the NFL, NBA, NHL, and MLB, JBF Worldwide has been spearheading ongoing trips to Haiti to help bring desperately needed resources to the country as part of its Global Ambassadors Program, which aims to connect influential individuals and social conscientious corporations to philanthropic organizations, while traveling the world to make positive social impacts in communities in need. The JBF Global Ambassadors have grown to more than 150 athletes, artists, and influencers spanning the worlds of sports, music, fashion, as well as business and world leaders.

This year, JBF’s Global Ambassadors will continue to make an impact in Haiti with a full itinerary of philanthropic endeavors, which include:

  • Visiting the JBF Worldwide sponsored nationwide cervical cancer program at St Luke’s Hospital, which aims to save an estimated 3,000 lives a year.
  • Delivering part of JBF Worldwide and CitiHope’s donation of $69 million in medicines that are currently being distributed to medical facilities throughout the Country.
  • Supporting JBF Worldwide’s “Sport 4 Development” partner, The Sanneh Foundation and the Haitian Initiative’s soccer and feeding program located in CitΓ© Soleil.
  • Delivering baseball equipment to Haiti’s first national baseball league as part of JBF Worldwide’s ongoing commitment to helping grow baseball on the Island.
  • Participating in a Starkey Hearing Foundation Mission in CitΓ© Soleil as part of an effort that has provided the gift of hearing to over 3,000 Haitians.
  • Launching YesJulz Little Rascals Music Initiative in Del Mar, which will bring music resources and training opportunities to underserved youth.
  • Donating computers as part of Karen Civil’s initiatitve to give education and technology access to orphans in Haiti.

Additional events include a celebrity sports series of softball, soccer, volleyball, and flag football games, Maham Celebrity Yoga, a visit to the Hope Centre Orphanage, and a tree planting project aimed to address Haiti’s deforestation crises. The JBF Global Ambassadors delegation will include Anastasia Galkova (Professional Surfer), Toni Garrn (International Model), Clinton Portis (NFL All Pro), Willy Monfret (International DJ), Carlos Dunlap (NFL All Pro), Julz Goddard (Entertainer and Director of Vibes), Karen Civil (Celebrity PR and Brand Ambassador), Rohan Marley (Marley Coffee), Sidney Rice (Super Bowl Champion and NFL All Pro), Na’il Diggs (Former NFL Player), Jenny Watwood (International Model), Jack Brewer (Media Contributor and Former NFL Player), Sergio Brown (NFL Player), Byron Chamberlain (All Pro and 2x Super Bowl Champion), 070 Shake (Hip Hop Artist), Patrick Pizzorni (International DJ), Marko Gojanovic (Hospitality Mogul), and Ezinma Ramsay (Musician). This group is comprised of several other professional athletes, artists, and global executives from various corporate supporters
