Non-Profit Highlight: Anseye Pou Ayiti (Teach for Haiti)

slide-1-2

If we want a better tomorrow for Haiti, we have to create it.

Our Non-Profit organization highlight is Anseye Pou Ayiti. Anseye Pou Ayiti’s CEO and Co-Founder, Nedgine Paul, is the daughter of a schoolteacher and principal. Nedgine has returned home to help solve the country’s crisis of educational inequity and ineffectiveness by using the organization and placing teachers in existing underserved primary schools, including the school that Nedgine’s father once led.

Anseye Pou Ayiti seeks to recruit and train high-quality teachers both top graduates of Haitian universities, and current teachers already working in classrooms across Haiti as drivers of a quality transformation for Haitian schools. To redefine the teaching profession by promoting instructional excellence, Anseye Pou Ayiti will recruit top talent for rural schools, provide ongoing training, and develop a network of alumni leaders serving as lifetime allies for education reform.

Anseye Pou Ayiti transformational teaching and leadership will equip all children with the knowledge, skills, and mindsets to achieve their full potential with equal opportunity, pursue lives of mutual prosperity, and contribute to a more enlightened 21st-century world.
