Born in Haiti, Barbara is a lover of the Haitian culture and has been always an ambassador for her country. Barbara Andre, a graduate from University at Buffalo, was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti onΒ November 9th, 1988 where she alsoΒ spent most of her childhood.Β Barbara attended, Mickey MousΒ KindergardenΒ and College Anne-Marie, growing up in Haiti. She Β learnedΒ at an early age to appreciate the beauty of Haiti. She recalls going to different parts of the country with her grandmother, her sister and her cousin from HincheΒ to Thomassique as a child.
While attending Sorbonne University in Paris, I had the opportunity to learn about different cultures especially the French culture and its civilization. This experience helped me appreciate my root, and my Haitian culture more. Since then I wanted to become an ambassador to promote our beautiful country and its great culture. If we do not do it, no one else will. Young Haitian let’s get together for our beautiful country. Education is important and I want to be a great example for the next generation of Haitians. I want use my influence to educate them and encourage them to educate others about Haiti beauty and Natural potentials.
