On Sunday, July 17th, L’union Suite had the opportunity to host its first Success Diaries with guest speaker Karen Civil, curated by author Suze Guillaume with the help of LS Cream, Caribbean Apparel, 14Forty Apparel and Luc Belaire.
Taking place at Gallery 212 in Miami Wynwood Art District. Wanda Tima, and her L’union Suite team hosted a day of inspiration and networking and brought together professionals from various professions and industries.
Fort Lauderdale’s own DjMdiggy was on the 1’s and 2’s, providing the music for the entire event, while Luc Belaire and LS Cream was on deck serving drinks, mimosa, and cocktails to all of the empowered guest in the building. Chef Alain and Sensory Delights took care of the delicious menu with an array of delicious fruits, cheese, salad, meatballs and more.
The goal of the event was to encourage entrepreneurs to network and build new connections while picking media maven Karen Civil’s brain as she discussed her personal success story which includes her fearless decision-making, resilient attitude, venturing into new projects and how she maintain her position as one of the top professionals in her field. The event was definitely a success which included question and answers and a book signing of Civil’s “Be You & Live Civil Book” where she had the opportunity to meet some of the young professionals.
In addition to Civil’s gems, rapper Kodak Black and Lajan Slim’s manager Brooklyn Johnny answered a few questions about management in the music industry while Maybach Music’s A&R DJ Sam Sneak happily mingled and answered questions with the event goers.
From the bottom of our heart, Wanda Tima and the L’union Suite team would like to send a huge thank you to everyone who attended. Hope to see you at the next Success Diaries.
