In a moment of triumph that electrified the track and field community, 24-year-old Haitian-Barbadian triple jumper Euphenie Andre cemented her place among America’s best at the 2025 USATF Outdoor Championships.
On August 2, 2025, Andre delivered a career-defining performance, soaring to a personal-best 13.64 meters (44 feet, 9 inches) to capture third place in the women’s triple jump. The leap not only marked a major personal milestone but also confirmed her status as one of the nation’s top contenders. Moments later, Andre’s unfiltered joy lit up social media. She posted on X (formerly Twitter): “I’M THE 3RD BEST TRIPLE JUMPER IN THE COUNTRYYYY OMGGGGG 🇺🇸💙❤️!!!!!” The post captured her infectious energy and the pride she felt representing herself and her community on the national stage.
Born on March 16, 2001, in Dover Plains, New York, to parents Sony Andre and Miriam Edwards, her drive for excellence emerged early. At Dover High School, she captured the 2019 New York state outdoor triple jump title and rewrote the school’s record books. Her commitment to the sport earned her a spot on the Universi

ty of Missouri track and field team in 2020, where she became one of the program’s standout performers. Balancing elite competition with academics, Andre earned her master’s degree in education in Ma
y 2025.
Her journey to this national podium has been defined by resilience and consistent progress. In 2021, she earned USTFCCCA First Team All-American honors in the indoor triple jump, setting the stage for years of strong performances. Two years later, she claimed silver at the NACAC U23 Championships with a personal best of 13.42 meters, and earned Second Team All-American honors in the outdoor triple jump. The following year, she proved her mettle under pressure with a seventh-place finish at the USA Olympic Trials, jumping 13.31 meters. Earlier in 2025, she broke the Mizzou indoor triple jump record with a mark of 13.55 meters at the NCAA Indoor Championships, placing sixth and once again earning First Team All-American recognition.
With her recent success at the USATF Outdoor Championships, Euphenie Andre has firmly established herself as one of the brightest talents in American athletics. Her path—from determined high school champion to nationally ranked professional—is a testament to perseverance, discipline, and the belief that dreams are worth c
hasing. For the Haitian and Barbadian communities she proudly represents, her achievements are not only a personal victory, but a shared celebration.
If her trajectory is any indication, this is only the beginning for Euphenie Andre.
