The festival, which embraces the theme “Bigger Than Us,” emphasizes global connectivity and the power of the internet to amplify Caribbean voices and foster cultural unity. With a dynamic lineup, immersive digital experiences, and a mission to connect communities worldwide, Sumfest Mizik 2025 promises to be a landmark celebration.
Sumfest Mizik, now in its eighth year, has evolved from its origins in Haiti in 2016 to a global phenomenon, drawing thousands to Miami since its relocation in 2023.  In 2025, Sumfest Mizik is leveraging the internet to expand its reach, offering fans worldwide access to the festival’s infectious rhythms and cultural showcases.
The festival’s official website, social media platforms, and newsletter provide real-time updates, artist announcements, and exclusive promotions, ensuring fans stay connected.
“Sumfest Mizik is more than a festival; it’s a global movement,” says Carl Philip Desmornes, one of the festival’s founders. Sumfest Mizik 2025 will feature a diverse lineup of world-class artists, blending genres like Konpa, Afrobeats, Dancehall, and more. Attendees can expect 9 hours of electrifying performances from 2 PM to 11 PM, complemented by Caribbean cuisine, arts and crafts vendors, and cultural activities. Initiatives.
Sumfest Mizik 2025 is an all-ages event. Attendees are encouraged to bring essentials like sunscreen, comfortable clothing, and payment cards, as the festival is not cashless.  Tickets are available through the festival’s official website, Sumfestmizik.com.

#BurnaBoy brought the energy to the Boom Boom Room atop The Standard, High Line, where he hosted one of the most talked-about #MetGala after-parties in #NewYorkCity.
