My name is Wanda; I’m a Haitian-Turks Islander who grew up in South Florida not having much knowledge of Haiti or my Haitian Culture. In 2011 after researching and saving pictures and achieves of Haiti and our history, I decided to start this blog to teach and connect with other Haitian-Americans who grew up feeling disconnected from their Haitian culture or people who simply love Haiti and our colorful and vibrant culture.
