#LunionSuiteExcellence

Boise State standout and proud Haitian-American Ashton Jeanty made headlines on Thursday night as the Las Vegas Raiders selected him sixth overall in the 2025 NFL Draft—making him the highest-drafted running back since Saquon Barkley in 2018.

Jeanty’s rise to the top has been nothing short of extraordinary. He capped off a dominant college career with 2,601 rushing yards and 29 touchdowns in his final season, placing his name among the best in NCAA history. His achievements earned him First-Team All-American honors, the prestigious Doak Walker Award, and a runner-up finish in the Heisman Trophy race.

Beyond his game-breaking ability on the field, Jeanty brought flair and pride to draft night. Dressed in a bold floral-patterned suit and custom black Crocs adorned with Swarovski crystals, he paid tribute to his roots by wearing the Haitian flag on one wrist and the American flag on the other.

Back home in Frisco, Texas, the Lone Star High School community gathered to celebrate the moment. Coaches and former teammates erupted with joy as they watched their former star athlete reach the pinnacle of football dreams.

With his selection, the Raiders are counting on Jeanty to be a game-changer in their backfield. Known for his explosiveness, agility, and playmaking ability, he is expected to contribute immediately and energize the team’s offense.

As he enters the NFL, Ashton Jeanty carries not just the pride of his hometown and college, but the flag of an entire community. He’s not just a star in the making—he’s a symbol of cultural pride and Haitian excellence.

Let’s go, Ashton!
