Cardi B Fires Back at DHS After Viral ICE Joke: “Let’s Talk About Epstein and Friends”

Haitian-American rapper’s onstage quip about protecting fans from ICE sparks official response and explosive online debate

Palm Desert, CA / Washington, D.C. – February 12, 2026 Cardi B kicked off her “Little Miss Drama” tour on February 11 in Palm Desert, California, with a high-energy show that quickly turned into national headlines.

During the concert, while shouting out her Mexican and immigrant fans and criticizing tough immigration policies, the Haitian-American superstar jokingly told the crowd: “B**ch, if ICE come in here, we gon’ jump they asses.”

She added: “I got some bear mace in the back. They ain’t taking my fans, b**ch. Let’s go!”

The comment, clearly meant as hype and a playful show of solidarity with her immigrant audience, was captured on fan video and went viral overnight.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), which oversees ICE, quickly responded by reposting the clip on its official X account with a pointed jab: “As long as she doesn’t drug and rob our agents, we’ll consider that an improvement over her past behavior.”

The remark referenced old, unproven allegations from 2019 that Cardi B has repeatedly denied and dismissed.

Cardi fired back almost immediately on X, turning the focus to one of the most explosive scandals in recent U.S. history: “If we talking about drugs let’s talk about Epstein and friends drugging underage girls to r*pe them. Why yall don’t wanna talk about the Epstein files?”

Her reply referenced the Jeffrey Epstein case, where powerful figures were accused of serious crimes involving the trafficking and abuse of underage girls — a topic that has fueled ongoing public outrage and calls for accountability.

The exchange exploded online. Supporters praised Cardi for flipping the script, calling out perceived hypocrisy, and standing up against aggressive immigration enforcement. Critics argued the onstage joke crossed a line into encouraging violence against federal agents.

The incident highlights the intense current tensions around immigration policy, celebrity activism, and rapid-fire social media clashes between public figures and official government accounts.

L’Union Suite will continue to follow reactions from the Haitian-American community, immigrant advocates, and any further responses from Cardi B or DHS.
