Video: Daniel ‘Fantom’ Darinus “Everything is Gods Work”

It’s been a week since the fatal powerline accident in Haiti during Kanaval and Haitian singer and rapper Daniel Darinus aka Fantom of the Barikad crew who was the first injured in the accident is doing better and recovery in South Florida.

Daniel “Fantom” Darinus is in South Florida recovering from burns on his face after being struck by a low-hanging wire during Haiti’s Carnaval parade last week. Darinus was aboard a float with bandmates from the popular Haitian hip-hop group Barikad Crew when he was struck in the face. The sudden shock led to panic and a stampede, which resulted in the deaths of 17 people. Darinus said he blacked out just after the huge spark pierced the air. “I don’t remember. I just saw fire coming out, and I passed out. That’s the only thing I remember,” – WSHH
