Anastagia Pierre is an American-born Haitian-Bahamian beauty queen and model, Anastagia is an internationally recognized model, beauty queen, spokesperson, and television host based in South Florida. She is the founder of Hair by Anastagia, a custom line of high quality hair extensions designed to encourage non-damaging, natural looking alternatives to traditional hair extensions for all hair types and textures. After competing at the Miss Universe, Miss USA, and Miss Teen USA pageants, Anastagia has become one of the leading resources for serious pageant competitors seeking personalized training on the local, national, and international levels.
In 2012, Pierre became a worldwide media sensation after meeting Britain’s Prince Harry, and was named one of the “Hottest Beach Bodies of 2012” by US Weekly Magazine.
Anastagia Pierre is the reigning Miss Bahamas Universe 2011 and has recently competed at the Miss Universe 2011 pageant in Sao Paulo, Brazil. She is no stranger to the pageant industry, as she competed in her very first pageant at age 5. In 2010 she won the title of Miss Bahamas Intercontinental, and placed 2nd Runner Up at the Miss Intercontinental 2010 pageant held in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Ms. Pierre has also held the titles of Miss Florida Teen USA 2004, and Miss Florida USA 2009, making her the first African American woman to represent the state of Florida at both Miss Teen USA and Miss USA. She has been studying dance for over 15 years and practiced classical piano for over 10 years. She is classically trained in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical and modern dance. Anastagia Pierre is currently an international model and spokesperson. She was a featured actress in the 2012 national Acura ILX campaign. She has graced the runways of Caribbean Fashion Week, Islands of the World Fashion Week, Miami Beach International Fashion Week, and Mercedes Benz Fashion Swim Week.
She has been featured in publications such as the Sports Illustrated Swim Suit Edition, US Weekly Magazine, Self Magazine, SoBe Fit Magazine, Brookstone Catalog and Pageantry Magazine. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from Nova Southeastern University and worked as the Station Host on NBC Miami.
Anastagia Pierre became a worldwide media sensation after meeting HRH Prince Harry in the Bahamas during the events surrounding Queen’s Elizabeth’s 60th Diamond Jubilee. Since meeting the prince Miss Pierre has become the topic of many major press outlets including Huffington Post, Yahoo, & The Daily Mail. Sources say that she and Prince Harry became very close, and it has also been rumored that she may even be a potential wife for the young single prince.
