The Government of Haiti has officially announced that the airports in Port-au-Prince and Cap-Haitien will reopen to scheduled commercial passenger flights as of June 30, 2020.
JetBlue and Spirit plan to open regular service from Port-au-Prince on July 1, and American
Airlines on July 7. Plans for service from Cap-Haitien have not yet been announced. U.S. citizens wishing to depart Haiti should work directly with the relevant airline to make reservations and purchase tickets. On Monday morning, the 20-year-old Haitian TPS holder was pronounced dead on Interstate 70 after he was struck by a semi-truck near South Vienna.
