This years honorees include Andre Berto, two-time welterweight boxing champion, Karen Civil, Founder of Live Civil and digital marketing expert, Harriet Michel, the first woman to lead the New York Urban League, and Dr. William Pape, Founder of Les Centres Gheskio in Haiti. The event was an elegant night of Haitian food and music and an open bar of drinks from Hennessy.

According to Fabrice Armand, founder of Haiti Cherie, the event was a unifying moment for the Haitian diaspora and friends of Haiti in New York City, people traveled from Boston, Canada, Miami and France to support the event.

It was definitely a nice event, It was a pleasure being amongst other influential Haitians making a difference in their community.
