June 14, 2017 – Miami, Florida – L’union Suite has become a household name for many reasons. With its eye-catching Vlogs that educate and stimulate the mind, photographs that showcase beauty and strength and articles that motivate and inspire, L’union Suite has crossed borders from the United States, Canada and the Caribbean to reach millions of people from different walks of life who want to be introduced to Haiti, its culture and people.
With an added incentive to use success as a means to change lives, L’union Suite is hosting its 3rd Annual “Strike for Education Charity Bowl.” On Sunday, July 16, 2017, at Sparez Bowling on 5325 S. University Drive in Davie, Florida. Every year L’union Suite adopts an organization to raise funds for, this year funds collected will go to building a much needed resource center at College Bell Angelot in Cap-Haitian.
Focused on helping 7th to 12th graders receive the resources they deserve, Strike for Education will enable L’union Suite to help build a resource center and provide much needed lap tops, books and supplies to young men and women in Haiti who can gain a better education and have the tools to become leaders in the future.
“Competition is always so fierce but friendly with our celebrity teams, they love being able to come together to enjoy an evening of fun, all while raising money for a great cause,” L’union Suite CEO, Wanda Tima-Gilles laughs.
The “Strike for Education Charity Bowl” also serves as a great means for Haitian professionals, Haitian student organizations and community leaders to mingle and network. In past years the event has raised over $10,000 and this year celebrity teams have already registered to double that number.
Tickets are now on sale for $25 for individual players, $160 per team of four bowlers. Doors open at 6pm and the tournament starts promptly at 8pm.
