Haiti has another trophy to bring home.
The Haitian U-14 men’s national team defeated defending champions Jamaica 4–0 on Sunday to win the Tier I title at the 2026 CFU Boys’ Under-14 Challenge Series in Cap Cana, Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. The result was also confirmed by the Caribbean Football Union.
The young Grenadiers came out with confidence and controlled the match from the start. After several early chances, Haiti finally broke through in the 28th minute when Jodeley Delmas found the back of the net.
Haiti took its 1–0 lead into halftime and came back even stronger after the break. Wensley Dumorne scored twice, in the 38th and 47th minutes, putting Haiti firmly in control.
Ronelson Janvier added Haiti’s fourth goal in the 59th minute to complete the 4–0 victory.
The win capped a strong tournament run for Haiti. The young Grenadiers had already defeated the Dominican Republic 6–1 in the semifinal to earn their spot in the championship match. Jamaica entered the final as the defending champion and had not conceded a goal during the tournament before facing Haiti.
The championship is another strong moment for Haiti’s youth football program. Delmas finished as the tournament’s top scorer, while Dumorne was named MVP.
For these young players, the trophy is more than a win. It is another reminder that Haiti’s next generation is coming—and they are already making noise in Caribbean football.
