The South Florida community is grieving the heartbreaking loss of James Jean-Louis, a beloved fitness coach, motivational leader, and Titan Games champion, who tragically passed away in a motorcycle accident on May 8, 2025.
According to official reports, the fatal crash occurred around 3:06 a.m. near NW 103rd Street in Miami. James was riding a black Suzuki motorcycle when he collided with a black Kia sedan, resulting in a violent ejection from his bike. He was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
A proud Haitian-American and North Miami Beach native, James Jean-Louis inspired thousands through his story of personal transformation, dedication to fitness, and unwavering mission to uplift his community. In 2019, he rose to national fame after winning NBC’s The Titan Games, hosted by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Yet, beyond his television success, James was known for his deep compassion, his role as a mentor, and his dream of opening a gym to support at-risk youth.
Under his social media handle @bodyof_a_titan, James often shared messages of hope, resilience, and strength. He spoke openly about overcoming adversity and using his platform to empower others.
