First Ever Haitian Ski Championship In April

According to HaitiLibre, In continuation of the extraordinary adventure of Jean Pierre Roy, President of the Haitian Federation of Ski, the “Rasta Picquett” of skiing and the first Haitian to have participated in the Skiing World Championships in Garmisch-Partenkirch in February 2011, Jean Pierre continues his action of support and generosity to Haiti through the ski.

For the first time in the world, the Haitian Ski Federation in collaboration with the “l’Or Blanc Pour Haïti” organizes a competition a little “exotic”, the first Haitian Ski Championship. This event will take place on 14 and 15 April 2012 in Morzine (in the heart of the Alps, France), and Jean-Pierre hope to have many competitors Haitians or of Haitian origin.

This Haitian Ski Championship is not reserved only for Haitians, clarified Jean-Pierre, it is also open to anyone who will want to share with them this magical moment and to want to show their support for the Haitian people in a way a little out.
To all who have taken a license “OR BLANC” of the Haitian Ski Federation, this will be the unique opportunity to be part of the Haitian National Ranking of ski, to surprise people around you and mark your belonging to the great family of those who love skiing, who are generous and that support the Haitians.

Diaspora and friends of Haiti, come participate in the first Haitian Ski Championships on April 14-15, 2012 in Morzine.
